Did you know that Area 5 provides scholarship support for Area 5 residents to attend handbell events? That includes Area 5 and national HMA events — festivals, workshops, seminars, and more!
How does it work?
The Area 5 scholarship application is open once a year for six weeks. You apply during that timeframe, our Scholarship Committee reviews the applications, and if you are selected, Area 5 covers the cost of registration to your chosen event. It’s that easy!
When should I apply?
Now! The application period is open from Oct. 1 to Nov. 15, 2026, and won’t reopen until next year.
