Handbell Musicians of America offers a wide variety of events on a national, regional and local level — festivals, seminars, master classes, etc. National events are planned and presented by the HMA national office. Regional and local events are planned and presented by Areas & Sub-Areas, or by a member or member organization of Handbell Musicians of America.

Classical Bells is noted for bringing music to life with their unique interpretive style, a technique they call “Ringing in Color.” This group of seasoned professionals, led by artistic director Darlene Ebersole, has performed in concerts nationwide and has appeared as the featured performers with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Michigan Opera Theater. Each show features musical selections in a wide variety of genres – classical, jazz, inspirational, even ragtime and swing!

Join Joyful Sound, a Bronze-level community choir in the Greater Indianapolis area, as we celebrate 25 years of ringing together! Our anniversary program includes some of our favorite pieces from the past 25 years: a blend of classics like “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” original handbell compositions like “Transcendent” by Jason Krug, and contemporary hits like “For Good” from Wicked. We can’t wait to see you there!

Join conductor Joe Galyon for the West Virginia Mountain Ring, a handbell festival for choirs and independent ringers in West Virginia and beyond! Independent ringers will be assigned a position and placed into a choir.
Closing concert: Free and open to the public.
Registration: $20 per person. Table rental is $10 per 8ft table, and attendees should bring their own bells/chimes, foam, stands, music, etc.
