Handbell Musicians of America offers a wide variety of events on a national, regional and local level — festivals, seminars, masterclasses, etc. National events are planned and presented by the HMA national office. Regional and local events are planned and presented by Areas & Sub-Areas, or by a member or member organization of Handbell Musicians of America.

Based in Colorado Springs, Forté is an advanced quartet marked by artistry, energy, and dedication to their craft. In pursuit of musical excellence, Forté strives to explore, innovate, inspire, and glorify God through the gift of music.
Resonance describes a sound that is deep, full, and lingering. In presenting this concert, Forté invites you to slow down, listen, and share in the range of emotions offered by this music. We hope that what you hear will echo in your heart long after the final note fades. Known for their skillful, energetic performances and diverse repertoire, Forté will captivate audiences with a wide range of musical styles. Resonance features beloved original compositions for handbells, familiar movie themes from How to Train Your Dragon and Titanic, contemporary and traditional Christian music, and baroque and classical favorites. Together, these varied selections create an engaging and accessible concert experience for listeners of all ages.

“Seasons” Tour
Kalamazoo Ringers is one of the longest-running bronze-level community handbell ensembles in the USA. The 16-member ensemble will bring you music to celebrate the seasons, played on a seven-octave set of Malmark handbells, a six-octave set of Malmark Choirchimes, and a 2-octave set of Schulmerich Silver Melody Bells.

This dynamic handbell concert celebrates distinctly American genres—from the syncopated swing of jazz and big band, to the heartfelt harmonies of bluegrass and gospel, to the bold rhythms of Broadway and pop/rock. Each piece tells part of our country’s story, reflecting the creativity, diversity, and indomitable spirit that have shaped the United States for 250 years.

Bay View Week of Handbells

Founded in 1978 by Donald E. Allured, the Bay View Week of Handbells has become a destination for advanced handbell ringers throughout the world. Now directed by Fred Gramann, the intensive five-day event takes place in northern Michigan on the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan. Ringers are assigned positions in 10 choirs, using sets of handbells and chimes ranging from five to eight octaves.
