As a service to our members, Handbell Musicians of America offers a wide variety of events on a national, regional and local level – festivals, seminars, master classes, etc. National events are planned and presented by the HMA National Office. Regional and local events are planned and presented by Areas & Sub-Areas, or by a member or member organization of Handbell Musicians of America.

February 2021

HMA Virtual Winter Workshop

Join us for Handbell Musicians of America’s first Virtual Winter Workshop. This is an opportunity to work with a wide range of expert instructors on an assortment of handbell related topics. Instructors include Paul and Stevie Berryman, Marie Clyatt-Larson, Mitchell Eithun, Linda Krantz, Venita MacGorman, Kristen MacGorman Maupin, Derek Nance, Michele Sharik, and Kath Wissinger. The two-day virtual workshop will include twelve sessions with nine different track options. The tracks range from just a single session to four sessions long. Registrants will be able to attend 12 sessions live and then have access to watch the recordings of all sessions for a week following the event.

HMA National Seminar

National Seminar provides a unique opportunity to meet and network with fellow handbell musicians and develop life-long friendships with those that share your enthusiasm and passion for our art. Participate in educational and engaging classes; enjoy performances by some of our best choirs, ensembles, and soloists; browse and shop through exhibit booths from handbell publishers, retailers, manufacturers, and more. Registration opens February 15.
